HanapBiz Referral Program Terms and Conditions
Version 1.0 · Effective on publication date.
These terms govern participation in the HanapBiz Referral Program. Eligible business owners must accept the current version before activating or sharing their referral code for the first time.
1. Program eligibility
Participation is available only to approved and published HanapBiz businesses with a claimed profile and confirmed owner email.
HanapBiz may suspend or remove eligibility when a business or account is suspended, unpublished, fraudulent, inactive, or violates platform policies.
2. Referral code use
- Each eligible business receives a unique system-generated referral code.
- Referral codes may be shared publicly.
- Referral codes have no cash value and do not provide account access.
- The code must be entered during the referred business’s original submission.
- Codes cannot normally be added, removed, or changed after submission.
3. Qualified referrals
- Only legitimate, new, approved, and published businesses qualify.
- Submission of a form does not guarantee referral credit.
- HanapBiz may review ownership, duplicate information, registration details, websites, social pages, contact information, and other relevant signals to determine eligibility.
4. Prohibited activity
The following are prohibited:
- Self-referrals
- Creating fake businesses
- Submitting duplicate businesses
- Creating multiple accounts to earn rewards
- Submitting branches only to obtain referral credit
- Misrepresenting business ownership
- Buying or selling referral credits
- Exchanging fraudulent referrals
- Using automated bots
- Manipulating referral links or codes
- Attempting to alter referral counts
- Attempting to exploit technical errors
- Submitting prohibited or deceptive businesses
- Coordinating circular referrals between related accounts
5. Monthly limit
- A business may earn a maximum of one thirty-day referral Featured reward per calendar month.
- Incomplete counts do not roll over.
- The referral code may pause when the monthly limit is reached and may reactivate during the next eligible cycle.
6. Featured reward
The reward provides thirty days of promotional Featured visibility.
Featured status does not mean:
- Full verification
- HanapBiz endorsement
- Government accreditation
- Insurance
- Guaranteed quality
- Guaranteed safety
- Guaranteed sales
- Guaranteed customer inquiries
- Guaranteed business performance
7. Review period
Rewards may be subject to an anti-fraud review before activation. HanapBiz may delay activation while reviewing suspicious or incomplete records.
8. Revocation
HanapBiz may reject, reverse, or revoke referral credits or rewards when it discovers fraud, duplicate businesses, self-referrals, ownership conflicts, false submissions, policy violations, technical manipulation, administrator error, or businesses that should not have qualified. Every revocation is recorded with a reason and audit history.
9. No cash or transfer
Referral rewards cannot be exchanged for cash, sold, transferred, assigned to another business, or combined beyond the permitted monthly limit.
10. Program changes
HanapBiz may update, pause, replace, or discontinue the referral program. Material changes should be communicated to participating businesses. Already activated legitimate Featured periods should not be removed without a valid policy, fraud, or correction reason.
11. Taxes and legal responsibility
Participating businesses remain responsible for any applicable tax, reporting, or legal obligations connected with their participation or promotional benefits. HanapBiz does not provide tax or legal advice.
12. Privacy
Referral activity may involve processing business identity, account identity, referral attribution, submission information, approval status, fraud-prevention signals, reward records, and audit logs. This is explained in the Privacy Policy. HanapBiz does not publicly expose private account information, fraud signals, device information, administrator notes, or submitted evidence.
13. Limitation of liability
HanapBiz does not guarantee that participation will produce customers, inquiries, sales, partnerships, or business growth. HanapBiz is not responsible for private agreements or transactions between participating businesses.
14. Disputes and appeals
A business owner may report an incorrect referral outcome through the official support or referral-dispute process. HanapBiz may request supporting evidence. Authorized administrators review disputes and record the final decision.
15. Acceptance
By activating or using a HanapBiz referral code, the business owner confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted the current Referral Program Terms and Conditions.
